About Sheila Goode

Sheila is a California transplant to North Georgia, living on two mostly wooded acres. Sheila has a background in environmental consulting and cultural resources. She and her bassist husband, Ed, are new gardeners learning how to grow in red clay while fending off deer, rabbits, squirrels and chipmunks. They often combine their love of music with their new gardening pursuits, with jazz, pop or classical tunes streaming through the windows of their home while preparing new beds, planting and weeding. Their gardening style is casual/naturalistic combined with a healthy dose of trial-and-error.
